Aevo in under two minutes

How Aevo works: board, subtasks, goals and the day plan.

Top left is what matters now.

Every task is a tile. Its size comes from your estimate of the effort, its position on the board from a score Aevo calculates from deadline, date, priority and postponements. What matters now sits top left, even when it is not urgent.

What still fits today: when you connect Aevo to one or more calendars, Aevo takes your meetings off your working hours and draws a line around the tasks that still fit into your day. More: Realistic day planning.

One big task, split into groups.

Aevo lets you decide how you handle subtasks and projects. In the zoom view you can add subtasks inside any task and sort them into groups. Aevo also supports links, files and notes as additional elements.

One level is not enough? “Zoom” as many levels deep into your tasks as you like. The way back is always just one click away, so you never lose the overview.
More on this: break tasks down to any depth.

Postpone it three times and the tile turns yellow.

Every tile has an attention score that sets its position on the board. It grows as the date on which you want to work on a task comes closer.
You can postpone tasks, but the score grows with every postponement, and after the third time it shows visually as well. Decide whether you get the task done, or whether you might not need it at all anymore. You can also pause tasks at any time – then it stays quiet until you really need the task again.

What still goes between two meetings.

The dashboard shows you a day plan from start of work to the end of the day. In Aevo you do not have to plan, but thinking about what you can do when can help you focus. Meetings from your calendar are fixed in place. You drag tasks from the backlog into the gaps and see what fits and what does not.

The plan sets no clock times. If you get to a task later, everything moves along through your day. Only meetings stay put. What does not fit before a meeting carries on after it. Breaks you drag in yourself.
By the way: in Aevo, AI never plans for you. Only you do.

The note sits next to the task.

Notes simply belong with your tasks. Important information, texts, research and more go straight into Aevo notes. Formatting, images and callouts? No problem. Notes can be linked to your tasks at any time, so you always keep the full overview. You never need a second app for notes.

Looks the way you want.

Aevo is as individual as you are. Light or dark? Colourful or rather calm? Serif or sans serif? Aevo gives you every option to work with focus and to enjoy using it. Lots of colours, typefaces and display options make Aevo your Aevo.

Why Aevo?

What Aevo does differently from a list.

What fits into today

Working hours minus your meetings, set against the effort of your tasks. The board shows you what still fits into today.

Ranks itself

Deadline, date, priority and postponements make up an attention score. One click shows what it is made of.

Nothing sinks quietly

Whatever you keep postponing takes on colour and stays in front.

Calendar & inbox

Connect your calendars (Google, M365, iCloud, CalDAV) and your email to Aevo, read-only. Turn emails and meetings into a task with one click.

Everything on one board

Tasks, notes and projects sit side by side as tiles and can be linked.

Privacy

Aevo’s servers run in the EU. We use no analytics or advertising services in the app, and your data is never shared or sold.

Deliberately simple.

Many productivity tools add assistants that plan for you. Aevo does not plan for you. Aevo ranks by a fixed calculation of deadline, date, priority and postponements, and every tile shows how its score comes about. Because we believe you do not need planning to know what matters now.

Hi, I’m Chris.

I’m an IT person through and through, and I like things to be organized. My projects range from a call answering service and IT for private customers to web and hosting services. Aevo is my newest project, giving tasks a place where they get seen.
