Aevo compared with Akiflow

Akiflow gathers tasks from many tools into one inbox and lets you build time blocks from them. Aevo gathers less and calculates more: it shows what fits between today's meetings.

The short version

Akiflow is built for people whose tasks turn up everywhere: in Slack, in Gmail, in Notion, in Jira. Everything flows into one inbox, and with keyboard commands you place the tasks as blocks on the calendar. If you type fast and have many sources, it is a very dense way to work.

Aevo is quieter. Tasks sit as tiles on a board, ranked by a score you can read. There are no time blocks. Aevo takes your meetings off your working hours and marks which tasks fit into the rest.

What Akiflow does better

What Aevo does differently

The size of the day is a number. You see how much of today is free and how much of it your tasks need. A plan made of blocks is wrong after the first interruption; a sum is not. The long version is in realistic day planning.

A mail becomes a tile. The inbox sits in the board. One click turns a mail into a task with a date and an estimate: turn an email into a task.

Postponing stays visible. Every postponement is counted and shown on the tile.

A free plan. Aevo can be used for free, permanently. New accounts also get 14 days of Pro.

Which one suits you

Akiflow suits you if your tasks come from many team tools and you like working in time blocks.

Aevo suits you if meetings shape your day and you want to know what is realistic in between. See the pricing or start for free.

Frequently asked questions

Can I create time blocks in Aevo?

Not in the calendar. In the daily band you drag tasks between your meetings by hand if you want to fix a day. It is not required.

Which mailboxes can Aevo read?

IMAP mailboxes and Microsoft 365. The inbox is part of Pro.

Is there quick capture?

Yes. One line into which you type title, project, priority, effort and date, opened with a key from anywhere on the board.

What does Aevo cost after the trial?

Nothing, if the free plan is enough. Pro is 5.00 euro a month or 50.00 euro a year, VAT included.
