The short version
Sunsama is a daily planner. Each morning you pull tasks in from your other tools, estimate them and place them on the calendar. In the evening you close the day on purpose. If you like that ritual, it is one of the calmest ways to work.
Aevo asks for no ritual. Your tasks sit as tiles on a board and rank themselves by a score you can read. Aevo takes your meetings off your working hours and shows which tasks fit into the rest of the day. When a meeting is added, the sum still holds, because nobody wrote a plan that is now wrong.

What Sunsama does better
- The ritual. Plan in the morning, shut down in the evening, review on Friday: Sunsama guides every step. Aevo has nothing like it and does not want to.
- Integrations. Tasks from Asana, Jira, Trello, Notion or Slack land straight in the daily plan. Aevo brings tasks in by import, from the mailbox and from Teams.
- Mobile. Full apps for iOS and Android.
What Aevo does differently
Planning is optional. You give a task a date you intend to work on it and an estimate. The board does the rest. If you still want to lay out a day by hand, drag tasks into the daily band between your meetings.
The order explains itself. A click on a tile's score shows what it is made of: deadline, date, priority, postponements, time untouched.
Postponing stays visible. Every postponement is counted and shown on the tile. More in tasks you keep postponing.
The price. Aevo costs a quarter to a fifth. New accounts get 14 days of Pro, then the account continues for free.
Which one suits you
Sunsama suits you if daily planning does you good and your tasks live in many team tools.
Aevo suits you if you do not want to plan every morning, have a full calendar and want to know what still fits in between. See the pricing or start for free.
